Gratitude Charity hot meals served by Aunty Enid in Borehamwood

Our most senior volunteer, Aunty Enid, happily serves food to all who come. She has been part of Gratitude since our very beginnings, first cooking at St Teresa’s Church 14 years ago. Her warm smile and dedication are at the heart of our community work.

Feeding the Community Every Week

This new initiative builds on Gratitude’s long-standing commitment to helping local families in need.

  • Weekend food bags for 4 local schools — supporting families over the weekend.
  • Foodbank services for 1,941 people every week, ensuring that everyone can access fresh and essential groceries.
  • Now adding free hot food to all who come (while stocks last), extending our support beyond dry goods.

Everything we do is powered by volunteers who give their time, energy, and compassion to make a real difference.

Respect and Gratitude Go Hand in Hand

We welcome everyone — all we ask in return is respect and gratitude.
Please be mindful of parking rules and kind to the volunteers who serve you. Every act of courtesy helps keep this service running smoothly for all.
