Gratitude Charity is continuing its mission of support and compassion by sending essential aid to Ukraine and Moldova. Our latest shipment brings items that can make a real difference to families living through hardship and uncertainty.
What’s in the Aid Package
Thanks to generous donors, this shipment includes:
Children’s and adult clothing
Puzzles and board games to bring moments of joy
Mobility aids such as crutches and walking frames
Essential sanitary items
These essentials are being delivered via Driving Aid to Ukraine, a partner organisation with long experience and rigorous due diligence to ensure that aid gets to those who need it most.
Supporting Our Local Community Too
While we send aid abroad, we’re also stepping up locally:
- Hatfield & Welwyn Women’s Refuge: We’re supplying clothing and essentials for women and children, often helping when they’ve had to leave home very suddenly. These items aim to restore dignity and comfort in very difficult times.
- Kids Corner Programme: We’ve streamlined this service so that families in need can apply by email (with supporting evidence in many cases). This ensures clothing and early years’ provisions go not just where there is need, but where there is most need.
